When owners Toby and Elizabeth Doeden and Kevin and Kara Pharis purchased the building, which had been a Max & Erma’s restaurant, they had the opportunity to purchase a neighboring hotel – one of the original Super 8 hotels – under the condition that the building could no longer operate as a hotel. The building will also host a sports bar and grill with casino games. The front of the facility will be a state-of-the-art Sinclair fuel station with six pump islands and an up-scale convenience store that will include Street Corner’s new fresh, made-to-order food service.
